Most storage problems aren’t really about having too much stuff — they’re about not having the right place to put it. We design and build custom mudrooms, closets, wardrobes, shelving, entry storage, and utility storage throughout Kelowna, built around your space and the way you actually use it.

Good storage should make daily life easier, not just give you more cabinets. The best solutions are built around what needs to be stored, who uses the space, and how the room actually functions day to day.
Whether you’re trying to fix a chaotic entryway, make better use of a closet, add a built-in wardrobe, or turn an underused wall into useful storage, we can design something that fits the space properly and feels like part of the home.
What We Build
Mudrooms
Benches, cubbies, hooks, drawers, shoe storage, and closed cabinets designed around your family’s everyday routine. Mudrooms need to be durable, easy to use, and able to handle the mess that comes with wet boots, bags, coats, and pets.
Closets & Wardrobes
Reach-in closets, walk-ins, and built-in wardrobes with hanging space, shelving, drawers, and storage sized around what you actually own instead of a generic template.
Entryway Storage Units
Hall trees, coat cabinets, benches, shoe storage, and built-in organization that gives everything a place to land without making the front of the house feel cluttered.
Laundry & Utility Room Cabinetry
Cabinets, shelving, folding counters, broom storage, and custom organization that helps small laundry and utility rooms work much harder.
Garage & Hobby Custom Cabinets
Built-in workbenches, wall storage, cabinets, shelving, and organized systems for tools, hobbies, sports gear, and the spaces where projects tend to pile up.
01
Uses Every Inch
Custom storage is built around the actual dimensions of the room, which means fewer awkward gaps, filler panels, and wasted corners.
02
Designed Around You
Cubby sizes, shelf heights, hanging space, drawers, hooks, and bench heights can all be planned around what you need to store and how you use the space.
03
Built Tough
Shelves should hold weight, drawers should glide properly, and benches should be comfortable and solid. We build storage to be used every day.
04
Seamless Look
Profiles, trim, paint, wood species, hardware, and proportions can be coordinated with the rest of the room so the new storage feels integrated rather than added on.
Pricing depends on the size of the space, the amount of cabinetry and shelving involved, materials, hardware, and how detailed the design is.
The biggest things that affect price are:
• Scope — small area or full wall
• Cabinetry — doors, drawers, and cubbies
• Material — paint-grade or hardwood
• Hardware — standard or premium
• Finish — painted, stained, or natural
• Complexity — angles, bulkheads, obstacles
• Existing conditions — retrofit or renovation
If you send us a few photos and rough measurements, we can usually give you a realistic sense of scope before moving forward.
Every wall, room, and idea is different. A simple shelving project might be fairly straightforward, while a full fireplace wall with cabinetry, drawers, lighting, and custom finishes can become a much larger build.
If you send us a few photos of the space and a rough idea of what you’re hoping to build, we can usually help you get a much clearer sense of the scope before moving forward!

$1,500-$3,000

01
Show Us Your Space
Send us photos, rough measurements, and tell us what isn’t working. The more honest you are about what ends up on the floor, counter, or chair, the better we can design around it.
02
Define The Design
We’ll talk through what needs a home, who uses the space, what needs to stay visible, and what you’d rather hide behind a door.
03
Build
The cabinetry, shelving, benches, drawers, and other components are built for your exact space rather than adapted from standard modular sizes.
04
Install & Finish
Everything is fitted carefully, aligned, trimmed, and finished so it feels connected to the surrounding room. We protect the space and clean up properly when the installation is complete.
We build custom storage solutions throughout Kelowna, including Upper Mission, Lower Mission, Glenmore, Wilden, Kettle Valley, Black Mountain, McKinley Landing, and Dilworth.
We also take on custom storage projects in West Kelowna and Lake Country depending on the scope.
Modular systems use standardized components and sizes. Custom carpentry gives us more flexibility to work around odd dimensions, bulkheads, sloped ceilings, trim, outlets, and other quirks while making the storage feel more integrated with the home.
Yes. Most closet projects can be designed around an existing reach-in or walk-in without changing the entire room.
Absolutely. We can work with the wall space you already have and design benches, hooks, cabinets, cubbies, and shoe storage around the available footprint.
Yes. Built-in wardrobes are a great option in bedrooms where freestanding furniture wastes space or doesn’t provide enough storage.
Usually, yes. We can match or coordinate the trim profiles, colours, hardware, and overall style so the new storage feels connected to the rest of the room.
Yes. The immediate installation area needs to be clear before we arrive. We’ll let you know exactly what needs to be moved before installation day.
Yes. Depending on the project, custom storage can include drawers, doors, adjustable shelving, hooks, bench seating, integrated lighting, charging areas, and other practical details.
Yes. You don’t need to arrive with a finished design. If you can show us the space and explain what isn’t working, we can help work through the layout and storage priorities with you.
"We hired DiMarco Carpentry to do a built-in fireplace feature wall in our home and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! David worked with us to create exactly what we wanted, including recommending and installing a recessed TV and custom mantel. He was punctual, fair, and most importantly (to me) clean! He undoubtedly puts 150% effort into his work and the results speak for themselves. DiMarco Carpentry completely exceeded our already high expectations and we would highly recommend him and his business!"
