A home bar should feel like it belongs in the room — not like furniture that wandered in. We build custom bars throughout Kelowna, from compact wet bars and basement bars to full back bars with cabinetry, shelving, lighting, and integrated storage, all designed around your space and how you like to entertain.

A good home bar is more than a counter and a few shelves. It should make serving, storing, and entertaining easier while feeling like a natural part of the room.
Whether you want a small bar tucked into a living space or a full basement setup with display shelving, integrated lighting, appliances, and seating, we design the layout around the actual room and the way you plan to use it.
Types of Bars We Build
Back Bars
Full-height or partial-height back bars with cabinetry, display shelving, bottle storage, glassware storage, integrated lighting, and countertop space for serving.
Basement Bars
Straight, L-shaped, or built-in bars designed around basement layouts, posts, ceiling heights, media areas, and the way the room is already used.
Wet Bars & Bar Nooks
Compact bars for living rooms, dining rooms, offices, basements, and other spaces where you want storage and serving space without dedicating an entire room to it.

Entertainment Room Bars
Bars designed as part of a larger games room, theatre, lounge, or media space, with cabinetry, appliances, storage, and lighting coordinated with the rest of the room.

01
Better Use Of Space
Custom bars can be built around the actual room, including awkward walls, bulkheads, corners, posts, and ceiling heights that standard cabinetry doesn’t always handle well.
02
Needed Storage
Bottle storage, glassware, drawers, closed cabinets, open display shelving, and appliance space can all be planned around what you actually keep at the bar.
03
Cohesive Design
Cabinetry, trim, wood species, hardware, countertops, and surrounding details can be coordinated with the rest of the room so the bar feels built in rather than added later.
Pricing depends on the size of the bar, amount of cabinetry and shelving, appliances, countertop material, lighting, plumbing, and finish level.
The biggest things that affect price are:
• Size — overall bar length
• Cabinetry — doors, drawers, and storage
• Shelving — display or enclosed
• Countertop — laminate, wood, or stone
• Appliances — fridge, ice maker, wine storage
• Lighting — integrated LEDs or display lighting
• Plumbing — sink and water connections
If you send us photos of the space, rough dimensions, and a few inspiration images, we can usually give you a realistic sense of scope before moving forward.
Every wall, room, and idea is different. A simple shelving project might be fairly straightforward, while a full fireplace wall with cabinetry, drawers, lighting, and custom finishes can become a much larger build.
If you send us a few photos of the space and a rough idea of what you’re hoping to build, we can usually help you get a much clearer sense of the scope before moving forward!

Fitting & Finishing
Everything is fitted, aligned, trimmed, and finished carefully. We coordinate with countertop, plumbing, and electrical trades where needed and clean up properly when the installation is complete.
We build custom bars throughout Kelowna, including Upper Mission, Lower Mission, Glenmore, Wilden, Kettle Valley, Black Mountain, McKinley Landing, and Dilworth.
We also take on custom bar projects in West Kelowna and Lake Country depending on the scope.
No. Plenty of home bars are dry bars with no sink at all. If you want a wet bar, we can design the cabinetry around the sink and coordinate placement with your plumber.
A wet bar includes a sink and plumbing. A dry bar doesn’t, which makes it easier to add in spaces where water lines aren’t nearby.
Yes. The layout, shelf heights, lighting, and cabinet proportions can all be adjusted to suit lower ceilings and bulkheads.
Yes. Appliance openings can be designed into the cabinetry, with ventilation and access planned around the specific unit.
We build the bar and coordinate the countertop portion of the project. Stone, quartz, or other specialty countertops are typically measured and installed by a countertop supplier after the cabinetry is in place.
Yes. Under-shelf lighting, display lighting, cabinet lighting, and other integrated lighting can be designed into the bar, with electrical work coordinated as needed.
Can you build the bar as part of a media room or games room?
Absolutely. Bars pair naturally with theatres, media walls, games rooms, lounges, and other entertainment spaces.

It depends on the size and complexity of the project. A compact bar can move relatively quickly, while a larger bar with custom cabinetry, appliances, stone counters, lighting, and plumbing requires more coordination. We’ll give you a realistic timeline once we’ve seen the space and scope.
"We hired DiMarco Carpentry to do a built-in fireplace feature wall in our home and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! David worked with us to create exactly what we wanted, including recommending and installing a recessed TV and custom mantel. He was punctual, fair, and most importantly (to me) clean! He undoubtedly puts 150% effort into his work and the results speak for themselves. DiMarco Carpentry completely exceeded our already high expectations and we would highly recommend him and his business!"
